2010 2010 But first a little history as to whyAir 1 originated. The copper cable network systems of the telephone industry were introduced to air pressure many years ago for the purpose of protecting their investments and customer service. With copper being used for a variety of high tech circuitry (DSL, TV packages and more to come) keeping the environment inside the cables under control is even more important today than ever before. However, there are times when we let our guard down with maintenance and do not keep it at the standard it should be. Therefore, Trained Technicians Are A Must. Air 1 was created in 2000 by Lew Dayton and George Mousky, to provide the Telco’s with a hands on air pressure leak locating training course. At that time Lew and George had more than fifty years of air pressure experience both as craft and management. So with that experience and the use of pneumatic training boards Air 1 was busy with classes in Verizon and SBC (SNET) the first year. Air 1 since that time, has conducted over 400 classes and/or contracting for BellSouth & SNET (now AT&T), Century Telephone & EMBARQ (now CenturyLink), Frontier, Qwest and Verizon. As of 2008 with dryer classes in the state of Washington Air 1 can say we conduct training coast to coast and border to border. Air 1 is proud of its accomplishments since its inception. The following are courses Air 1 offers:
WhenAir 1 decided to expand its course inventory in 2002, we felt the only way to conduct the training properly would be to recruit people who have a high level of experience/expertise in the subject matter and some type of training background. With that said, Air 1 is extremely happy and fortunate to have Rich Dinda, Larry McLeroy, and Miguel Perez join us as instructor/trainers. Resumes’ of our instructors are attached or can be found on our website. I think you’ll agree they fit our needs like a glove. With the continued expansion of our curriculum we feel we have encompassed the requirements that TelCos need. A few things to remember when you select any of Air 1 's training courses:
As stated earlier, Air 1 has been involved in contracting since our inception in 2000. Whether it be riding with technicians, finding the elusive air leak or installing a dryer here and there. But starting in 2009 Air 1 became highly involved in the contracting aspect of the business. We look forward to providing the high quality of service, as we do with the training portion of our business and as with our training, Air 1 will be happy to provide you with names and numbers of contacts where we have conducted work. In closing, a reminder that our training courses are of excellent quality and have a very competitive pricing structure and we bring the training to you. Your technicians are at their home station if needed, not at a location out of reach. If requested, references will be provided. Please call (631) 751-2939 or our toll free number (888)836-2939. Air 1 looks forward to providing services to your company whether training courses or contracting. Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you soon yours truly, Air 1 Technical Services, Inc.
